Abstract: This book contains 87 brain exercises for people with early memory loss. Designed to complement the activities found in Strengthen Your Mind, Volume One, this collection of short, theme-based worksheets was developed to enhance brain functioning and sharpen memory skills while promoting laughter and reminiscence for individuals or groups. By engaging multiple parts of the brain, participants will challenge their memory and gain new knowledge with these matching, fill-in-the-blank, and brainstorming worksheets. And if the questions are too great a challenge, answer keys are provided to help. The book’s worksheets are divided into categories of People, Places, and Things. They include activities about past fads, foods, and popular culture; famous performers; historical leaders; world events; celebrated athletes; prominent geographic landmarks; common expressions; and many more fun and entertaining topics. The book includes tips for group facilitators, and all activities have been field-tested with individuals with early memory loss. Most of the topics (people, places, things) refer to the North American culture. (AA-M). (for volume 1, see AD Lib 10407)
